A K-12 educational setting in Grovetown, GA is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language services. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations across multiple school sites, making a meaningful impact on students communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy and conduct specialized evaluations for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust services accordingly
- Serve multiple school locations within the district, requiring flexibility and adaptability
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student growth and communication development
Qualifications:
- Current Georgia license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in school settings
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school environments with K-12 students, providing direct therapy and evaluations
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
Position Details:
- Full-time contract for the current school year, ending May 29, 2026
- Standard hours Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Preference for full onsite presence, with consideration for a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days virtual)
